I was born in the city of Aarhus in Denmark and got my bachelor degree in biology from Aarhus University. In early 2018, I came to Lausanne for a temporary internship in one of the DEE (Department of Ecology and Evolution) research groups. Later same year I started my master's here at UNIL in the BEC program (Behaviour, evolution, conservation). I am currently working on my master thesis in the Roulin group where I am looking at how barn owls' colour morph affect their ability of camouflage. I hope to understand how different colouring can affect how easily it may be spotted by other birds, especially competitors.
