Loïc Brun
After receiving a Master’s in Behavior, Economics, and Evolution at the University of Lausanne, I decided to broaden my field of professional experience through several internships. I was a field assistant at the Swiss Ornithological Institute for a conservation project on the White-winged Snowfinch before starting work in the Barn Owl Research Group as a lab technician. My job is essentially to characterize the morphological traits of Barn Owls using molecular techniques in order to enable researchers to better understand the evolutionary processes of this species.
